Our standard minimum is 144 pieces, where the wholesale price tiers begin (144 / 288 / 576 / 1,500 / 2,500 / 5,000). Smaller runs — 100, 72, even 48 caps — are available for established accounts at a per-cap surcharge. Most orders of 576 pieces or fewer ship about 3 weeks after sewout approval, plus 2–4 days of shipping. Faster is often possible for an additional cost — just ask.We typically have a concept for you to review within 24 hours; approve it and sewouts follow within about another 24. Once you approve the sewout the clock starts. Complex caps take longer — custom dye, woven labels, molded parts, or washing. Larger runs scale predictably: roughly 4 weeks for 1,500 pieces, 5 weeks for 2,500, and 6 weeks for 10,000. Washed or distressed fabrics add about a week. Free virtual proofs and digitizing come back within 24 hours.

Every cap includes up to 12,000 embroidery stitches at no extra charge, with a minimum of 4,000 stitches per decoration location. That comfortably covers a large front logo plus back-arch text and a side mark on most programs.

Yes. Every order includes a free virtual proof, and for programs that need physical approval we can arrange a pre-production sample or a photo/video sew-out of your logo before the full run starts. Ask on your quote and we'll confirm timing and cost for your specific program.

Yes. Distributors can run headwear under their own brand: custom woven main labels, sweatband branding, hang tags, and factory-anonymous paperwork. Every virtual proof we produce carries your logo and contact block, not ours. Private label adds no production time to standard orders.

Yes — The Cap Company is trade-only and works exclusively with promotional-products distributors and resellers. Our SAGE number is 200546. End buyers are always referred back to a distributor.

Vector art (AI, EPS, or PDF) is ideal, but a clean high-resolution PNG or JPG works for most logos. Our art team prepares production-ready artwork and free digitizing within 24 hours, and flags anything that won't stitch cleanly at cap scale on your proof.

We decorate in-house: flat embroidery, 3D puff embroidery, sublimation (full-fabric and patch), screen printing, appliqués and patches (embroidered, woven, leather, faux leather, PVC/silicone, sublimated), and woven or printed labels including private labels. Yes. Decorators and embroiderers order our blanks to decorate themselves, and we also decorate in-house if you prefer a turnkey decorated order. Custom production runs allow an industry-standard ±3% quantity variance for quality assurance — we over-produce and hand-inspect rather than risk shipping you a short count. Any overage ships to you and is billed pro-rata at your same per-cap price, never at a premium.

Net 30 is available to clients with approved terms; new accounts are invoiced on standard terms until credit is established. Every invoice is a clean line-item document that mirrors your quote, payable online. Setup is free at 288 pieces and up, and every cap includes 12K stitches of embroidery (*min 4K per location).
